This is Reid on the plane to Denver Aug. 29, 2011 He was so ready to go. He was anxious to hit the ground running and serve.
President Ely and his wife. This is what Reid had to say about him,"My mission president is awesome by the way! He is an engineer and a really solid guy. His rules are as follows, 'You have the White Handbook for a reason. I expect you all to be adults and follow its council. If you do you won't have any problems.' I love that! It is exactly the way that I would handle it. I relate to him and already feel the wisdom that he has. That's a real load off my mind." Reid was quite worried about how he would like his mission president. Jim counseled him that as long as he followed the rules he would develop a good relationship.
